USE IT PROPERLY!

When I first started writing for my blog, my aim was to talk about how Internet facilitates our lives. As I was writing, I realized how my life is actually bounded for the Internet. I spend much of my time on computer and so, on the Internet. It is an indispensable part of my life.

I counted down most of the benefits of Internet up to now. Actually these are the most basic ones. There are, of course, most of other ways to get benefit from it. For example, checking bank accounts, looking at school grades etc. are among these ones. As we are in Information Age, our lives are so based on these technological products. I don’t know exactly to what extend it is essential for the ones who are working, but as a student it is very vital for my life.

What is important is that, when used properly, Internet has a striking effect throughout our lives. So, the only thing you should do is creating effective opportunities to ease your life by using Internet.

WHAT WAS COMPUTER?

        I am living in a dormitory. As this is a crowded one, sometimes we are having problems while connecting to the Internet. Thus, when I turn my computer on, the first thing I do is checking the Internet. If there is no connection, I turn it off.


        I remember the days when we bought our first computer at home. If I am not wrong, it was in 1998 or 1999. At these times, even just having a computer at home was a luxury in our neighbourhood, so having an Internet was a dream for us at least for a few years. What we did with the computer was just playing games and listening to music. I came from the school with a desire to play my game on the computer. Passing the levels was my biggest aim. And actually I was very good at this, but this is out of our subject :). 
       
         Compared to the past, there are lots of things that have changed. A computer without Internet is worthless for us, but in the pust it was not very necessary. Thus, we cannot know what the future will bring us. Maybe we will think what we were passing our time just with the Internet and computer. We will wait and see.

I AM THE DOCTOR OF MYSELF...

       If you are curious about the health issues, you want to learn how to treat to an illness. You read prospectus of the medicines in order to learn its benefits and harms. You listen to the doctors on television and try to learn new information about some diseases, especially the ones you think you have. When people have an illness, if it is not a very serious one, many prefer not to see a doctor at first. They try to get rid of it with the medicines they have.

       Today, most of the doctors have their own Internet cites. You can get some information from them. It is getting easier to reach a doctor thanks to Internet. You can send mail or find the telephone number easily and quickly. So, distance is not a big issue to be considered.

       Also, another alternative way for illnesses is herbal medicines. When you look for a natural way to get well, you can find variety of plants which are good for your health. There are lots of people who find cure with their own efforts. 

       If your medicines are not enough for you, you can search on the Internet these alternative solutions. Maybe, if you like this, you can get a master degree on alternative health solutions. :)

READ ME!

In the past, people subscribed at least a newspaper. Early in the morning, their newspapers came to their homes and they read it while doing their breakfast. Especially in the times when the television wasn’t commonly used, newspapers and radios were the basic communication and information tools.

            Today, we have lots of opportunities to be aware of what is happening around and outside of us. As in everything, we do this on the internet, too. Today’s people don’t prefer to purchase a newspaper from the sellers if there is not a promotion. Instead, most people follow the news from the internet sites of the newspapers. Today, at breakfast, instead of a paper on our hands, we have computers in front of us. Maybe in the future, also the promotions will be done on the internet by clicking on somethingJ. Actually, this way is more advantageous, because when you buy a newspaper, you don’t buy all the brands in the market. On the other hand, when you prefer to read on the internet, you have variety of chance to read the news from innumerable newspapers.

            Technology brings a lot of opportunities for us. But, I am not sure this way is good or not in terms of newspaper owners.

I WANT TO PLAY A GAME!..

If you are a normal student, I mean if you are not very social, you spend your times probably at your home or dormitory. This does not mean that you study much more than others. I am sure that %90 of the students of this type pass much of their times on the internet.

The process goes on like this. You open your internet, check your Facebook. You write comments or do some stuff like this and get bored. Then, if you have an account, you check your Twitter. It is done, too. Next, you remember your e-mail accounts and check your mails. You write replies for the necessary ones. Now, everything is done. You start to think “What can I do?” Actually you don’t think much. If you have many spare times, surely you are an addict of a game. You spend too much time for your games. You get new high scores. You have a strong desire to beat the others. At the end, you look at the time and see that you spend hours just for a game!

Actually, I like playing games, too. It is true that you waste your time, but at the end, you feel that your stress has totally gone off. 

APPLICATIONS FROM THE INTERNET!!!

As you know, every day a lot of exams are made in Turkey and many people attend to them. I have recently applied an exam. As it has been four years since I attend an exam like this, I haven’t been aware of the fact that the system has changed.Firstly, after my application, I reached the system via internet and get my password. From now on, I would follow the every step on the internet. I waited to learn my exam place and I looked at my account everyday on the site. In the past, our exam places were sent to our homes in an envelope. But this method is more time saving. And, it is also good for saving the environment, because you don’t waste paper. After the exam places are announced, I looked at the place of my school on Google Maps. It shows everything beneficial for you to learn how to go to a place. I looked at it, and a day after, I went to see with my eyes. I found my school as I put it myself with my hands. Special thanks to Google Map. J I will take my exam and the following process is to wait for the results. This means I will be on the internet checking my account continuously. And then, I will search what I can do with my result again, of course, on the internet.
Actually, if you have a good internet connection, this will be one of your helpers to find a good job, if you use it correctly and beneficially of course. Good luck J

I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE.....

There are a lot of sites in which you can find your mate if you are still alone:) I know people around me who met someone on the internet and get married soon. However, before I read the related articles, I didn't know that the percentages are so high.


Researches say that every one of five couples met on the internet. The more interesting thing is that fifty million of these people does not have even electricity at their homes! They are mobile users and it is supposed that they charge their telephones at their neighbours:) As we can see, the importance given to this issue is really high. People write their characteristics on their accounts and look for the ones who suits best for them. This sounds like buying food from a market but this is real. Actually there are lots of people successful in this.


What are the results? As in real life, we cannot say that these marriges are perfect. Also, it is announced that 20% of these marriges end up because of the internet, too. Many people think that it is worth taking risk because you can find happiness just by taking risk. So, the choice is yours ;)
